In 2007, after achieving phenomenal success, the league recognised the need to adopt a new identity – one which would reflect its standing on a world stage and lead the organisation well into the future. Qualities of professionalism and excellence were brought to life by a beautifully crafted marque that exudes confidence and stature. While supporting assets including a bespoke typeface, injected the passion and energy felt on the terraces.

In the eight years since launch the brand became a global icon, projected to over 3 billion people every year. Sponsorship deals have been strengthened, allowing the organisation to invest in the game – fuelling not only an ever more elite level of competition, but also a passion for football at grass roots level and demonstrating the power of sport for good within communities around the world. 2016 brought an exciting new era for the Premier League – as the confidence and stature built in the brand led to a new evolution which marked its first ever season without a title sponsor.
